About the Role
Trythall CP School has a vacancy for a teaching assistant.
The applicant must be prepared to lead groups, as well as working 1:1 with children. They must understand the importance of positive relationships, and enabling environments, and appreciate the value of outdoor play in early years education.
Experience and an understanding of the EYFS statutory framework is desirable. The successful candidate will also have experience in education outdoors or a willingness to undergo training in this area.
Patience, organizational skills and the ability to work well in a team with adults would be desirable characteristics. A recognised early years qualification, level 3 or above, would also be an advantage.
Trythall is a small (68 pupils) family school, with a thriving pre-school set in a rural location. The small team of dedicated professionals who work here possess a wealth of experience and special skills to share. Trythall has a strong environmental ethos and a commitment to learning outside the classroom. We have an open minded approach to what we do and a different ‘feel’ to more traditional schools.
